Duty Manager Luxury Private Camp | Plettenberg Bay Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager for a luxury private camp in Plettenberg Bay. This live-in role offers the opportunity to oversee daily lodge operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Requirements: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a lodge, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence Strong communication and interpersonal skills Hands-on, proactive, and flexible approach to operational challenges Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily lodge operations during assigned shifts Supervise, support, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service Ensure guest satisfaction and handle queries or complaints professionally Maintain operational standards across all departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards Monitor and manage stock usage and report shortages or maintenance issues Assist with staff training and development initiatives Maintain clear communication with lodge management regarding operations, guest feedback, and issues requiring attention Package: Salary: R16,000 Negotiable DOE Accommodation: Live-in provided To apply, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo Please note: Only candidates meeting the listed requirements will be contacted.
