Job Description

Job Requirements: Education & Qualifications: Trade-tested Fitter and Turner (essential) Additional technical qualifications or experience in pharmaceutical engineering (desirable) Quality-driven with strong technical skills and cGMP exposure Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical maintenance Pharmaceutical industry experience with manufacturing equipment : Tablet compression machines (essential) Encapsulation machines (essential) Coating machines Granulation equipment Pharmaceutical or general industry experience with packaging equipment : Rotary fillers (essential) Piston fillers (essential) Sachet fillers Blister machines (rotary and flatbed) Labellers Cartoners Skills & Competencies: Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills Understanding of GMP, HSSE, and quality compliance standards Ability to work on rotating shifts (day and night) Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and safety-conscious Job Duties: To provide skilled mechanical maintenance and repairs while ensuring compliance with cGMP, HSSE, and departmental standards , reducing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Perform skilled mechanical maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment. Execute planned preventive maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot mechanical issues to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Minimise shift downtime and improve changeover times to meet production targets. Practice good workmanship and maintain housekeeping of work areas, parts, and equipment. Compliance & Safety: Follow correct dress code and use required PPE. Adhere to all safety procedures, in-process controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain housekeeping standards in all departments. Report any possible non-compliance issues (cGMP, safety, housekeeping, or security) to the supervisor immediately. Performance Measures: Achieve daily production targets and breakdown repairs within set timelines. Meet OEE targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure safety and compliance of all mechanical installations. Execute preventive maintenance plans, cGMP, and safety requirements consistently. Working Conditions: Shift Schedule: Alternating one week day / one week night. Day Shift: Monday Thursday 08h00 16h30, Friday 08h00 15h30 Night Shift: Monday Thursday 18h00 06h00 Shift allowance applicable Monthly preventive maintenance is scheduled on payday weekends Salary: Market-related, based on experience How to apply:
