Description of Position An Environmental Officer in Construction is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and policies on construction sites. Qualification, Experience and Technical Requirement Degree (3 Yr.): Bachelor of Science or equivalent Minimum of 5 years civil experience Registered with SACNASP or EAPASA Knowledge National Environmental Management Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, municipal bylaws, company procedures and policies (understand and implement) Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies Understanding and implementation of ISO14001 Knowledge of construction processes (operations) and equipment Knowledge of construction materialsbitumen products (stable mix emulsion, bitumen rubber, hot bitumen), diesel, petrol, oils, cement
