About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently looking for an exceptional Executive Chef to join a Luxury Horseback Safari company based in the Waterberg. We are recruiting on behalf of a horseback safari company that caters exclusively to international clients, specialising in niche equestrian experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, memorable dining experiences tailored to a discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals for international guests, ensuring exceptional standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene
- Manage all kitchen operations, including menu development, stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards and efficiency
- Adapt menus to cater to international dietary requirements and preferences
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and lodge operations to enhance guest experiences
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a luxury or safari lodge environment
- Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills
- Creative and flexible approach to menu planning and guest service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team
