Position: Executive Head Chef

Job Description: This Ultra Deluxe Lodge is seeking an innovative and dynamic Executive Head Chef to join its esteemed team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a proven track record in high-end Culinary Cuisine. As the Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a fine dining experience that complements the guests` extraordinary gorilla tracking adventures.

Key

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
• Design and develop seasonal menus that highlight local and international cuisine, catering to the tastes and preferences of our diverse clientele.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Manage food inventory, sourcing, and procurement, ensuring the use of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
• Implement and maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the lodge management team to create memorable dining experiences that enhance guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and overall kitchen expenses to achieve budgetary goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel, lodge, or fine dining establishment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote and challenging environment.
• Knowledge of diverse international cuisines and dietary preferences.
