About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven External B2B Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Cape Town – Northern Suburbs. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in new business development, cold calling, and closing deals, with a solid understanding of the full sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
- Manage and grow existing client accounts
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations
- Drive the full sales process from lead generation to closing
- Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses
- Liaise with head office and installation teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years proven experience in B2B external sales/field sales
- Strong track record in new business development, cold calling, and closing deals
- Solid understanding of the full sales cycle (prospecting to post-sale support)
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable own vehicle (essential)
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- No criminal record
- Must have a positive attitude and a sense of humour
