• A finance or accounting degree, with professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) advantageous.
• Minimum 5–7 years of financial management experience.
• Strong track record in operational finance within high-volume, low-margin industries (food processing, FMCG, manufacturing, or similar).
• Fluent in both English and Potuguese – this is a non-negotiable requirement. 
• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.
• Willingness to be based in Tete, Mozambique.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations including reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive cost management and margin improvement initiatives.
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and financial and internal controls.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, building capacity and efficiency.
