WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a client to recruit an experienced and commercially sharp Account Executive. This is a senior individual contributor role for a high-performing SaaS sales professional who thrives on owning the full sales cycle, building strong pipelines, and closing complex deals with senior stakeholders across international markets.
About the Role
As Account Executive, youll take full ownership of revenue generation across a dynamic, compliance-focused SaaS environment. Youll manage your own pipeline from qualification through to close, working closely with marketing and partnerships teams to strengthen lead
generation and conversion. This role suits someone who is highly autonomous, metrics-driven, and confident navigating sophisticated B2B buying journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from qualified lead to signed contract
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through inbound, outbound, and referral sources
- Present tailored SaaS solutions to senior decision-makers
- Collaborate with marketing to improve campaign quality and lead generation outcomes
- Leverage partnerships and platform integrations to enhance deal flow
- Forecast, track, and report pipeline and revenue performance using CRM tools
- Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Develop pitch decks, proposals, and other client-facing sales collateral
- Represent the business at strategic meetings and industry events
- Mentor junior sales team members where required
What Youll Bring
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in SaaS or technology environments
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related technical field
- Proven track record of exceeding targets in fast-paced, growth-oriented settings
- Strong knowledge of solution selling and SaaS performance metrics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Self-driven, results-focused, and comfortable working independently
- Leadership and coaching capability
