? Role Overview

A luxury 5 safari lodge in Madikwe is seeking an experienced Relief Management Couple to support lodge operations. This dynamic couple will bring strong guest-facing, guiding, and administrative skills, with the ability to independently manage a team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure smooth lodge functionality.

? Key Responsibilities

Partner 1 (Guide):

• Lead guided safari experiences to exceptional standards (FGASA NQF2 required, NQF4 preferred).

• Ensure all guiding qualifications, including First Aid, remain current and valid.

• Conduct daily maintenance checks and assist with general upkeep.

• Host guests confidently, ensuring a world-class safari experience.

• Deliver safety-focused, interpretive, and engaging guest interactions.

Partner 2 (FOH/Administration):

• Manage guest hosting, front-of-house presentation, and service standards.

• Handle reservations system knowledge (PAN experience advantageous).

• Perform administrative tasks, including stock, reporting, and basic finance.

• Provide strong guest relations support and ensure operational continuity.

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and computer literacy.

Both Partners:

• Manage teams and schedules effectively.

• Show initiative and creativity with problem-solving and guest engagement.

• Be adaptable, hands-on, and able to work independently without constant supervision.

• Build strong guest relationships with engaging and outgoing personalities.

? Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 23 years experience in a 4 or 5 lodge environment.

• Valid drivers license and own reliable transport.

• Strong leadership and staff management skills.

• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.

• South African citizenship or valid work permit.

? Salary & Benefits

• Market-related salary (negotiable based on experience).

• Live-in position with accommodation provided.

• Monthly food allowance.

• 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.

• 21 days annual leave.

• Uniform provided.

• Provident fund (after 3 months).

• 13th cheque (performance-dependent).
