About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our boutique hotel in Knysna, South Africa. As a seasoned hospitality professional, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including rooms division, food and beverage outlets, recreation facilities, housekeeping, maintenance, and security, to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all of the property’s operations
- Develop and manage the property’s budget
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of product and service quality
- Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high service standards and a positive work culture
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years Small Luxury Hotel GM experience within a busy Hotel environment
- Previous F&B Management experience preferred
- Excellent costing and reporting skills
Qualifications
- Hospitality Management Diploma
- Matric Grade 12
