About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our luxury boutique hotel in the Natal Midlands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all hotel departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and consistently high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, and Finance
  • Implement and monitor SOPs, policies, and brand standards
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor financial performance, costs, and profitability
  • Drive revenue through pricing strategies, occupancy management, and upselling
  • Review P&L statements and implement corrective actions when required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–10 years’ hospitality experience, with at least 3–5 years in senior management
  • Proven experience managing hotel operations and budgets
  • Strong knowledge of PMS, revenue management systems, and financial reporting

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
