About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and strong-willed individual to manage our day-to-day functions in Porterville, South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire grain production process, including planting, harvesting, and maintenance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant and harvest grains
- Manage day-to-day farm activities
- Supervise personnel where applicable
- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and work environments
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years experience in grain farming
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and practical skills
- Ability to work under pressure during seisoenaal periods
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid management license
- Relevant landbou kwalifikasie (certification) is an advantage
Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
