About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Groups and Incentives Relief Consultant to join our team at &Beyond. As a key member of our support infrastructure, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our group and incentive programs, working closely with our Sales team and agents to ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the responsibilities of assigned team members during the absence of the consultant due to sickness, annual leave, or educational purposes.
- Assuming full management of the consultant’s workload, including handling re-quotes, ongoing proposals, operations management, and any other related tasks.
- Assisting and developing agent and hosted educational bookings; working closely with the Sales team to ensure these trips are seamless.
- Involvement in implementation of systems and procedures and assisting with testing of systems.
- Stepping in to chase provisional bookings for all relevant teams during quiet periods.
- Following up on any dead leads.
- Assisting in loading of bookings for consultants during peak booking period.
- Assisting with Small Group Journeys.
- Assisting with the procurement of new suppliers and products to enrich the offerings and creativity of the Groups department.
- May be required to occasionally travel with groups, to assist with operations.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of the tourism industry, including travel industry channels, current trends, destination management, and customer expectations.
- Good understanding of terms and conditions, markets in which &Beyond operates in, product knowledge, third party and &Beyond Product destinations.
- Relevant understanding of Business to create and formulate a strategy and make commercial decisions.
- A passion for delivering service excellence.
- Basic knowledge of crisis management protocols and procedures, including emergency response and risk mitigation strategies.
