About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at a large resort in Lesotho. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operational management and be able to lead our property to success. We offer a competitive salary of R35,000 per annum, as well as a unique opportunity to live on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the resort’s operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Lead a team of staff members to achieve exceptional customer service standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- 5-10 years’ relevant experience in remote properties, including all operational aspects.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Relevant certifications or professional designations an asset.
Salary & Benefits
R35,000 per annum, including live-in accommodation.
