Job Description

Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Administration Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding, contracts, transfers, exits) Maintain accurate employee records for local and expat staff Coordinate payroll inputs and liaise with payroll providers Administer leave, attendance, rotations, and site rosters Labour Relations & Compliance Ensure compliance with Angolan labour laws and mining regulations Handle disciplinary processes, grievances, and dispute resolution Support site management with employee relations matters Prepare HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation Recruitment & Workforce Planning Coordinate recruitment of local nationals and expat personnel Liaise with recruitment agencies and immigration consultants Support workforce planning aligned with production and shutdown schedules Expat & Local Workforce Support Manage expat documentation, visas, work permits, and renewals Act as HR point of contact for expat employees on site Support localisation initiatives and skills transfer programs HR Policies & Site Support Implement HR policies, procedures, and codes of conduct Support performance management processes Promote a safe, ethical, and compliant work culture on site Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Human Resources / Industrial Relations 5 years HR experience , preferably in mining, construction, or heavy industry Prior expat or remote site experience (Africa highly advantageous) Solid understanding of labour relations and disciplinary processes Strong HR administration and compliance background High level of professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity Angolan labour laws and mining regulations Advantageous Experience within Diamond Mining / DMS plants Exposure to Angolan labour law Portuguese language skills (basic to conversational) Experience managing large local workforces
