About the Role
A boutique Destination Management Company based in Cape Town is seeking a talented Inbound Travel Consultant to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will have the opportunity to design and manage bespoke itineraries across Southern and Eastern Africa for discerning international travellers. Your creativity, passion, and precision will be essential in delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage bespoke itineraries across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique
- Communicate with international travel advisors and partners to ensure every detail reflects our luxury standards
- Prepare accurate quotations, confirm supplier bookings, and manage files from enquiry to completion
- Contribute creative ideas and destination insight to elevate the client experience
- Collaborate within a small, dynamic team that values quality, authenticity, and long-term relationships
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A formal travel and tourism qualification
- Minimum 2 years inbound travel experience (preferably within a DMC or tour operator)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong Southern Africa product knowledge and an exceptional eye for detail
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced industry
