About the job:
Minimum
Requirements:
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC controls, and are familiar with NEN 3140;
- Experience working in a production environment (food industry)
- Good command of the Dutch language (Fluent in Afrikaans would be beneficial)
- Willingness to work shifts
Duties:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex production lines
- Optimize machinery and ensure the technical condition of production lines and building-related installations, including water treatment systems, electric generators, and high-pressure systems
- Act as the first point of contact for technical matters at the site
- Collaborate with the Technical Coordinator and the Technical Department team
- Supervise contractors and suppliers during preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs
- Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Identify and report unsafe situations or deviations following company procedures
- Serve as the primary guide for contractors and temporary staff on technical work
- Be available for on-call duties outside office hours, providing advice and analysis when needed
