Job Summary
We seek an experienced International HORECA Sales Manager to lead sales and business development efforts in the sale of meat, seafood, poultry, dry foods, vegetables and fruits to the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) sector across Maldives.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Business Development: Identify and target new and existing HORECA clients. Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet growth targets.

Team Management: Oversee a team of three Key Account Managers to ensure effective market coverage.

Key Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met.

Market Research: Analyze market trends, demands, and competition in the HORECA industry to adjust sales strategies.

Account Planning: Develop strategies for key accounts, setting objectives and timelines for customer satisfaction and growth.

New Product Launches: Work with the product development team to introduce new food solutions and coordinate product launches.

Pricing and Negotiations: Create pricing strategies that ensure profitability while being competitive. Negotiate contracts with clients.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on our products, addressing any issues promptly.

Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and prepare reports for senior management.

Compliance: Ensure all activities meet industry standards and company policies.

Collaboration: Work with internal teams like marketing, logistics, and finance to support clients effectively.
Minimum
Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Hospitality Management, or related field; School leaver certificate;

Experience: At least 5 years in international HORECA sales and business development in the food industry, with experience living and working abroad.

Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, analytical mindset, excellent communication in English, proactive attitude, and ability to work with diverse cultures.
- Networking: Must be comfortable with boat travel in rough seas for client visits. Willingness to travel frequently for client visits and industry events.

Valid passport.
