About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team, where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a long-term career. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with production planning and scheduling
  • Support inventory control and material flow monitoring
  • Liaise with production supervisors and operators
  • For production and processes assist with time studies & work measurement
  • Support implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor production outputs and identify variances
  • Collect, capture, and analyse production data
  • Prepare basic reports on productivity, efficiency, and downtime
  • Maintain production records and documentation
  • Assist with quality inspections and root cause analysis
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment

Requirements

  • Diploma in Industrial Engineering
  • Interest and initiative to join and grow in a long-term career
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
  • Exposure and interest to read and interpret production data and reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Good time management and organisational skills

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
