About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team, where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a long-term career. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with production planning and scheduling
- Support inventory control and material flow monitoring
- Liaise with production supervisors and operators
- For production and processes assist with time studies & work measurement
- Support implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor production outputs and identify variances
- Collect, capture, and analyse production data
- Prepare basic reports on productivity, efficiency, and downtime
- Maintain production records and documentation
- Assist with quality inspections and root cause analysis
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
Requirements
- Diploma in Industrial Engineering
- Interest and initiative to join and grow in a long-term career
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
- Exposure and interest to read and interpret production data and reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good time management and organisational skills

- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
