Job Summary
Junior Technical Sales Representative Airport Industrial, Cape Town R15 000 -R18 000 PM Com Leading manufacturer and supplier of products for fastening, fixing, installing, connecting, insulating, protecting and identifying electrical cables and data network infrastructure seeks a Technical Sales Representative to market their full range of products and services offered by the company, with the primary focus being product specification in the end-user markets. Key Performance Areas Key Work: Identification and establishment of new business through existing and potential customers. Preparation of tenders, proposals and quotations. Technical presentations and representation of the company at technical events, trade shows and customer shows. Conversion of customer requirements into product specifications. Project implementation and management. Development of end-user sales strategies. Maintenance of customer communication records and relevant sales data in CRM system. Regular review of product specification achievements against agreed objectives. Core Competencies Attributes Strong technical product specification and selling skills. Structured project management skills. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision. Excellent administrative skills. Ability to travel throughout the territory covered by the company. Overtime work as and when required. We are looking for a hardworking, go-getter who has extensive problem-solving abilities Suggested Minimum Education & Experience Requirements Post-matric qualification in an Electrical discipline (N6 or equivalent). A minimum of five (5) years experience in a Technical sales environment. Experience in project management and product specification. Experience in the South African electrical industry. This is a huge opportunity for a young person who wants to grow in the technical specification field in sales. You will be groomed to become a business development specialist. Min N6 Diploma in Electrical or Electronics.
