About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager to join our team at PRO Personnel Employment Agency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the mining industry, preferably with exposure to projects involving crushers, materials handling systems, and underground mining projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams in mining environments
- Deliver complex mining projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate project activities, including engineering and design on EPC/EPCM projects
Requirements
- Essential: Mining industry experience (non-petroleum / non-gas)
- Preferred commodities: Zinc, Copper, Gold
- Project exposure preferred: Crushers, Materials handling systems, Underground mining projects, Mining-related infrastructure projects
- Second preference commodities: Nickel, Cobalt, PGM’s (Platinum Group Metals)
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in: Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Civil Engineering (preferred), Electrical Engineering
- Degree / Diploma in Construction Management
