Lead QA/QC Inspector – Multidisciplinary – EPCM Construction Project

As a result of an awarded major EPCM project in Namibia, The client is seeking a experienced and proactive Lead QA/QC Inspector to join the on-site project team on a 6:2 roster.

About the role

  • Lead the site-based QA/QC function, overseeing inspection and quality control activities across all construction disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of QA/QC Inspectors, ensuring consistent application of quality processes and procedures.
  • Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation submitted by contractors.
  • Identify and manage non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with construction, engineering, and HSE teams to drive a culture of quality on site.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to The client and client stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness for client inspections.

About you

  • 8+ years of experience in QA/QC roles within EPCM or construction environments, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong technical knowledge across civil, structural, mechanical, and/or electrical disciplines.
  • Proven experience managing quality teams and driving compliance in remote or complex project environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a site-based role.
