About the Role
A 5-star luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area is seeking two experienced Lead Trails Field Guides to join their professional guiding team. As a Live-in position, you’ll enjoy accommodation, meals while on duty, medical aid, and provident fund benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and informative guided bush walks and game drives
- Deliver engaging interpretive experiences focused on wildlife, ecology, and conservation
- Ensure guest safety at all times, in line with operational and safety protocols
- Maintain professional guest interaction and hosting standards
- Assist with daily guiding duties, vehicle care, and operational support
- Uphold lodge service standards and guiding ethics
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Field Guide in luxury safari lodges
- FGASA NQF4 with Lead Trails Guide qualification (essential)
- Valid LEDET / NDT registration
- Valid Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH)
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Valid PrDP
- SAPS competency and clear criminal record
- Grade 12 / Matric

Salary & Benefits
Salary Package R15,000 CTC per month (Dependent on Experience)
