CORE PURPOSE OF JOB To facilitate the learning process for undergraduate and postgraduate students intending to become radiographers. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Facilitate the teaching and learning of undergraduate and postgraduate radiography students. Conduct clinical teaching and assessment at accredited training facilities. Perform academic administrative duties. Facilitate academic engagement. Participate in research activities in the department. CORE COMPETENCIES In-depth knowledge of the theory and practice of Diagnostic Radiography. Experience of clinical radiographic teaching and assessment. Experience in teaching academic radiographic modules. Strong skills in dealing with people at all levels. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office. REQUIREMENTS To be considered for the appointment to this post, candidates must have: A Masters in Radiography degree or equivalent Two years clinical experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and lecturing experience will be a strong advantage. Current registration as a Radiographer with the HPCSA. Proven record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). At least one DHET accredited publication in the last three years. PhD registration an advantage. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Applicants must provide a cover letter, CV, ID and certified copies of their qualifications.
