LODGE MANAGER | LUXURY SAFARI LODGE | KRUGER NATIONAL PARK Kendrick Recruitment is on the lookout for an exceptional Lodge Manager to take the reins at an ultra-luxury safari lodge set deep within the iconic Kruger National Park. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional who thrives in remote, high-end environments and is passionate about delivering unforgettable guest experiences in the wild. ✨ The Role The Lodge Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the lodge and its team, ensuring seamless operations and world-class service at every touchpoint. From guest relations and team leadership to financial control and operational excellence, this role calls for a hands-on leader who leads by example and creates a true “home away from home” atmosphere for guests. Key Responsibilities Include: * Overseeing all lodge operations and reporting to senior management * Delivering exceptional, personalised guest experiences * Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing lodge team * Upholding the highest standards of housekeeping, maintenance, and presentation * Managing budgets, stock control, and financial administration * Coordinating across departments to ensure smooth daily operations * Driving sustainability initiatives and environmentally conscious practices * Actively supporting and communicating the lodge’s conservation ethos Skills & Experience Required: * Minimum of 6 years’ experience, including management within a recognised five-star hotel or luxury safari lodge * Outstanding service standards with a genuine passion for hospitality * Strong Food & Beverage knowledge, including dietary requirements and allergies * Solid financial and administrative management skills * Excellent command of English (additional languages advantageous) * Confident leader with strong people management and communication skills * Sound understanding of labour law, HR processes, and staff development * High attention to detail, organisation, and professionalism * Valid driver’s licence Why This Role?
