About the Role
As a Motor Claims Technician at Greys Recruitment, you will be responsible for processing and managing motor insurance claims efficiently and accurately. You will investigate and assess the validity of claims, communicate with policyholders, service providers, and other relevant parties, document claim activities, maintain records, negotiate settlements with claimants, and utilize your knowledge of insurance policies and regulations to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage motor insurance claims efficiently and accurately
- Investigate and assess the validity of claims
- Communicate with policyholders, service providers, and other relevant parties
- Document claim activities and maintain records
- Negotiate settlements with claimants
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Motor Claims Technician or similar role
- Matric and FAIS accredited is an advantage
- Broker office experience at least 2 years in motor claims in the short term industry
- DOFA confirmation with FSB, commercial and personal lines motor claims
- Knowledge of insurance policies and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in relevant software applications
