About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OTR Tyre & GET Sales Manager to join our team in Zambia. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of OTR tyres and GET, with hands-on experience within mining or heavy equipment environments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting and selling products, and providing technical advice to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within mining, construction and heavy equipment sectors
- Promote and sell OTR tyres, GET and related services and solutions
- Conduct regular site visits, tyre inspections and GET assessments
- Recommend appropriate tyre and GET specifications based on equipment, application and operating conditions
- Provide technical advice on product selection, maintenance and performance optimisation
- Prepare and present technical sales proposals and quotations
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Achieve agreed turnover, revenue and profitability targets
Requirements
- 2–5 years’ experience in OTR tyre and GET sales within mining or heavy equipment environments
- Sound technical knowledge of OTR tyre sizes, applications and operating conditions
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Ground Engaging Tools (GET)
- Exposure to mining houses, contractors, EPCs, OEMs, and industrial operators in Zambia
- Experience and ability to manage a team
- Proven consultative sales and business development capability
- Ability to analyse tyre and GET performance, wear patterns and cost efficiency metrics
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, resilient and commercially minded with growth ambition
- Willingness to travel regularly across the Copperbelt and to Lusaka
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field (not specified)
