Job Summary
Position: Pipe Fitter
Location: Stellenbosch (Must be able to commute to and from)
Job Type: Permanent
Minimum Qualifying Criteria:
- Matric
- National Certificate: Mechanical Engineering: Pipe-Fitting or related qualification
- 2-3 years experience with Water filtrations plans & pipe fitting.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Open to travel
- Basic computer experience (MS Office Suite)
- English and Afrikaans (Preferred)
Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Client communication and site inspections.
- Servicing of our Water filtrations plants, i.e. knowledge of membranes, bag filters, pumps and motors.
- Chemical handling
- Plumbing experience
- Perform all diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain water purification equipment.
- Maintenance of plants on site
- Basic electrical knowledge, Fault finding and repairs on site.
- Complete the job task checklist in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist other employees with delivery and installation of products/equipment. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate in a positive manner with co-workers and customers to maintain positive public relations for the company.
- Self-time management
