Job Title: Process Engineer (Gas Fuel Systems)

A global leader in energy technology is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to specialize in Gas Fuel Systems for a major power generation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, and technical support of gas fuel systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and performance standards for a combined cycle power plant.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience in engineering, commissioning, or maintenance of fuel systems, preferably within gas turbine or combined cycle power plants
• Proven experience in process design, P&ID development, and system description for auxiliary systems
• Familiarity with gas turbine auxiliary systems (fuel, lube oil, cooling water) is a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of COMOS and Teamcenter for engineering and document management is highly desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French or Portuguese is advantageous)
• A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for the gas fuel system design, adapting standard designs to meet specific project requirements.
• Develop and create comprehensive customer documentation, including process diagrams (P&IDs), system descriptions, and component lists
• Create detailed purchase specifications and manage technical communication with suppliers and vendors
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to the installation and commissioning teams for gas fuel system issues
• Lead the resolution of fault reports and technical queries within the system’s responsibility
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams, including electrical, installation, and purchase departments, to deliver integrated solutions on schedule
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with project schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements
