Product Specialist (jnr.) – Passenger Vehicles – POS25196

Based: Meadowdale

Salary: R8000 – R10 000 pm

Role Summary

The Product Specialist acts as a brand ambassador and product expert for the passenger vehicle range, supporting the sales network with in-depth product knowledge, training, and customer engagement. The goal is to ensure consistent product messaging, competitive positioning, and an exceptional sales experience for customers and internal stakeholders alike.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or Management (advantageous)
• 1–2 years’ experience in a dealership, automotive training, or sales support environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle technology and consumer buying trends
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Confident, professional, and customer-focused approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel for training, events, and dealership support
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized
• Collaborative and service-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Provide ongoing product training and support to the internal sales team and dealer network
• Conduct detailed presentations and vehicle demonstrations for customers
• Assist with the introduction and launch of new vehicle models
• Create and update product documentation: comparisons, specs, and training guides
• Maintain showroom displays and ensure accurate representation of vehicle features
• Support marketing with product messaging and sales content
• Collaborate with OEM partners to remain aligned with brand direction and updates
• Attend and assist with exhibitions, customer events, and vehicle launches
• Monitor industry trends and competitor products to support positioning strategy
• Ensure technical concepts are translated into customer-friendly language
