About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Foreman to lead our technical team in a fast-paced food processing environment. With a solid technical background in refrigeration and electrical systems, you will be responsible for managing projects, leading meetings, and ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects related to refrigeration system maintenance and upgrades
- Lead workshops and training sessions on ammonia refrigeration systems and cold storage technologies
- Conduct site audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize plant performance
Requirements
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience in refrigeration and electrical systems
- Relevant refrigeration or electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ, BTEC, Diploma)
- At least 5 years of experience leading a technical team or workshop
- Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and cold storage technologies
- Experience working in food processing environments
