About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in Agbogba, South Africa. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers
  • Process payments, receipts, invoices, and petty cash transactions
  • Support monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with financial controls
  • Assist with budgeting and expenditure monitoring
  • Liaise with vendors, staff, and external stakeholders on accounts matters

Requirements

  • HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Part-qualification or membership with a professional body (e.g. ICA Ghana, ACCA) is an advantage
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel

Qualifications

  • HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Part-qualification or membership with a professional body (e.g. ICA Ghana, ACCA) is an advantage
