About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in Agbogba, South Africa. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers
- Process payments, receipts, invoices, and petty cash transactions
- Support monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Support audits and ensure compliance with financial controls
- Assist with budgeting and expenditure monitoring
- Liaise with vendors, staff, and external stakeholders on accounts matters
Requirements
- HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Part-qualification or membership with a professional body (e.g. ICA Ghana, ACCA) is an advantage
- Minimum of 4 years experience in an accounting or finance role
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Qualifications
- HND or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Part-qualification or membership with a professional body (e.g. ICA Ghana, ACCA) is an advantage
