Job Summary

Position: Sales Consultant

Location: Bellville, Western Cape

Role Summary:

This role is crucial in delivering tailored telecommunications solutions to meet corporate clients` internet, voice, and connectivity needs.

Minimum Qualifying Criteria:

  • Matric
  • 4-5 year of Sales Experience
  • Knowledge of the Telecoms industry would be preferred
  • Valid SA drivers license
  • Own Vehicle

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence and professionalism in cold calling and client interactions.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry (Preferred).
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Roles and

Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition and Retention:

  • Identify and approach potential business clients.
  • Cold call potential clients to introduce the company’s services and set up meetings.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with prospective clients to present solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

Sales Execution:

  • Support the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Help negotiate contracts under the guidance of senior sales staff.
  • Close smaller sales deals with supervision.

Market Research:

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and client needs.
  • Contribute insights to refine product offerings and sales strategies.

Product Knowledge:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the company`s telecommunications products and services.
  • Clearly explain features and benefits to potential clients.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports for management.

Regional Focus:

  • Target and operate primarily in the Western Cape region.
  • Travel to client locations within the region to present solutions and close deals.
