About the Role

Relief Cover is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to meet set goals and targets. You will communicate your plan to the sales teams, identify individual roles and responsibilities, train and supervise the sales team to ensure they meet their targets, and implement and monitor company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales plan to attain set goals/targets
  • Communicate the sales plan to sales teams
  • Identify & agree on individual roles and responsibilities
  • Train and supervise the sales team, ensuring that they meet their targets
  • Implement & monitor company policies & procedures
  • Manage sales staff performance
  • Evaluate progress against goals monthly
  • Prepare monthly management report
  • Monitor expenses against budget
  • Track deviation, investigate reasons & recommend corrective action
  • Assist with management of monitoring petty-cash requisitions
  • Prepare management reports
  • Intervene on customer queries & concerns
  • Understand impact of stakeholder policies
  • Deploy the correct interactions and processes
  • Manage the Office, Administration & Client Services
  • Report to regional manager
  • Be willing to do road shows

Requirements

  • Matric Sales and marketing qualification or similar
  • A driver’s license and own car
  • Must be an innovative thinker
