About the Role

Job Masters (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling products and meeting customer needs while obtaining orders from existing or potential sales outlets. You must ensure that the customer is satisfied and adequately taken care of while making a purchase. To retain all existing clients, conduct cost-benefit analysis of existing and potential clients, maintain a positive business relationship with clients to ensure future sales, promote marketing from time to time, visit sites, compile project specifications, handle customer complaints, conduct product training to all new and existing clients, and canvass for new clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit sales outlets to obtain orders
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adequate care
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis of existing and potential clients
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients
• Promote marketing and visit sites as required
• Compile project specifications and handle customer complaints
• Conduct product training for new and existing clients
• Canvass for new clients

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s licence with own vehicle
• A sound knowledge is required in the following fields:
• Tiling industry (bonus)
• Building, construction industry
• Tile merchants, hardware stores, building supply merchants
• 5 years of sales experience in the industry

• Grade 12 (Matric)
