Waterberg: Maintenance Manager

Qualifications National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (advantageous). Trade Test (Electrician, Plumber, Fitter, Millwright) preferred. Health & Safety Certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NOSA) is an advantage. Experience 35 years experience in maintenance management or technical supervisory role. Experience in hotel/lodge, manufacturing, commercial property, or hospitality maintenance is highly beneficial. Proven experience managing a team and handling contractor relationships. Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC). Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to manage budgets and inventory efficiently. High attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies quickly. Personal Attributes Hands-on, proactive, and technically minded.
