Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Certification in scaffolding supervision or related qualifications.
- Thorough knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety regulations, and construction standards.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Beneficial requirements:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to assess risks and implement corrective measures promptly.
Duties and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will ensure the safe installation, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, adhering to all safety regulations and project timelines.
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate scaffolding activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Inspect scaffolding materials, structures, and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Train and guide scaffolding teams on safe practices and efficient techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of scaffolding operations, including inspections, materials used, and team assignments.
- Collaborate with project managers and other supervisors to ensure scaffolding requirements align with project schedules and goals.
