Senior Chef (2IC) – 5 Star Boutique Luxury Lodge (New Opening) Greater Kruger, Limpopo | Live-in | R15,000 – R20,000 DOE Start Date: 26th January 2026 Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled fine-dining Senior Chef (2IC) for a newly opening 5 star, 7-key luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger, Limpopo. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a prestige hospitality group and support the Head Chef in delivering world-class culinary experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Head Chef with all kitchen operations and menu execution • Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence • Ensure consistent plating, food quality, and presentation across all services • Oversee stock controls, ordering, portion management, and wastage reduction • Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards • Contribute to menu planning, dietary requirement management, and guest preferences • Support pre-opening kitchen setup, systems, and processes Requirements: • Minimum 3 to 5 years similar experience in a luxury lodge/fine dining environment • Strong culinary foundation with excellent technical skills • Ability to run the kitchen independently when required • Creative, organised, and calm under pressure • Excellent communication and leadership ability • Passionate about high-end, guest-focused dining Package: • Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 (DOE) • Live-in accommodation • Meals provided on duty To Apply: Submit your CV, contactable references, food portfolio, and a recent head and shoulders photograph.
