About the Role

This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned Chartered Accountant who thrives in complexity, structure, and accountability. This role sits at the centre of group finance, with responsibility across consolidation, reporting, tax, governance, controls, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities

Own the full group month-end close, consolidation and reporting process, ensuring accuracy, integrity and deadlines are met, every time.
Prepare and present high-quality financial analytics, KPI reporting and monthly business and operational reviews, with a particular focus on balance sheet performance and integrity.
Lead budgeting and forecasting across OPEX, CAPEX and balance sheet.
Take full ownership of annual financial statements and the external audit process, including IFRS compliance and SAP year-end close.
Oversee direct and indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions, including corporate income tax, deferred tax, VAT, transfer pricing, recharges and tax optimisation.
Manage accounts receivable and payable, credit policies and applications, ECL provisioning under IFRS 9, credit insurance, and invoice discounting structures.
Be responsible for treasury activities including cash and debt reporting, banking, hedging instructions, foreign currency accounting (IAS 21), intercompany balances and reconciliations.

Requirements

Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA)
5-10 years’ post-articles experience in a senior financial control, corporate finance or group reporting role, ideally within a complex or multinational environment.
Strong IFRS and technical accounting expertise, solid tax knowledge (direct and indirect), and proven experience with group consolidation and reporting.
