Senior Cost Controller | Qatar | Contract Catering A leading hospitality and catering group is seeking a SENIOR COST CONTROLLER to join its Finance team. This strategic role is deeply embedded in operations – supporting central kitchens and multi-site projects – rather than procurement or purchasing. The ideal candidate will bring a finance-first mindset, operational fluency, and a track record of measurable cost accountability. Sector Fit: We welcome candidates from large catering, contract catering, remote site services, or hotel groups with central production operations – provided their experience is finance-centric and audit-compliant. Key Responsibilities: Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles across food, labor, and overheads Deliver monthly variance analysis with actionable insights for leadership Oversee inventory accounting: reconciliations, valuation, GRN/transfer controls, and waste/yield tracking Develop and maintain recipe/BOM standard costing and menu engineering cost sheets Ensure audit readiness and compliance through SOPs and internal control frameworks Manage ERP-based reporting (preferably SAP) and leverage Power BI or similar tools for cost visibility Drive margin improvement initiatives across central kitchen and satellite sites Candidate Profile: 7 – 10 years in finance-led cost control within F&B, catering, or industrial kitchens 3 – 5 years managing a cost control team Strong command of inventory accounting and cost analysis Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and reporting tools Exposure to industrial-scale, multi-site catering operations with KPIs such as food-cost %, PPV, shrinkage, and stock turns CPA/CMA or equivalent is a plus Salary: QAR 20000 Total package (slightly negotiable) flights and medical insurance.
