REQUIREMENTS:

• National Senior Certificate
• Certificate or Diploma in Interior Design/Decor or related field advantageous
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in retail in a similar role, same or related industry
• Exposure to an interior design environment
• Experience in coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage
• Own reliable transport
• Be assertive with drive and ambition
• Be decisive and able to prioritize
• Ability to cope in a high-paced and high-pressure environment.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Support showroom operations by organizing cuttings, sample hangers, and books
• Support showroom customer service by assisting sales staff in the showroom, as well as the Sales Consultants who are mainly out on the road servicing clients.
• Support showroom customer service by answering and directing calls, responding to enquiries, scanning appros in and out, liaising with clients to collect orders, offering and making for clients, etc.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order of the showroom, cuttings, and surrounding areas.

• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
• Good presentation skills
• Good with building and maintaining customer relationships
• Excellent customer service and after-sales service
• Good at selling products and concepts
• Well-presented and professional with good business etiquette.
