About the Role
As an all-round mechanic, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks in our automotive repair shop. You will work closely with a team of mechanics and a manager to ensure that vehicles are repaired efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing (computer) diagnoses on vehicles to immediately see what is going on.
- Repairing electrical and mechanical parts.
- Replacing parts (brakes, tires, clutch, suspension, …), windows and hydraulic lines.
- Carrying out repairs to the drivetrain.
- Replacing oil.
- Maintaining passenger cars and vans.
- Preparing vehicles for the technical inspection.
- Setting parameters of our fleet.
Requirements
- Several years of relevant work experience as an automotive mechanic.
- Fluency in English.
- A technical degree is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with performing diagnoses is a plus, but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently, accurately and punctually.
- Willingness to learn and keep up with technology.
