About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team at Recruitpro Solutions, based in Dordrecht, Netherlands. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for carrying out advanced structural calculations for scaffolding structures using Scia calculation software, and contributing to the development and optimisation of business configurations for our company’s scaffolding manual.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out advanced structural calculations for scaffolding structures using Scia calculation software, independently and as part of a team.
- Reviewing and approving structural designs produced by junior engineers and drafting personnel.
- Leading the development and optimisation of business configurations for the company’s scaffolding manual.
- Conducting site visits to assess structural conditions, verify calculations, and provide technical guidance where required.
- Preparing technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation in line with industry standards.
- Advising project teams on structural risks, mitigation strategies, and design improvements.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to structural integrity, design quality, and safety.
Requirements
- A relevant engineering qualification, such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in structural engineering, ideally within an industrial or scaffolding-related environment.
- Strong proficiency in structural mechanics and analytical problem solving.
- Experience working with Scia and AutoCAD (highly advantageous).
- Familiarity with design codes, construction safety requirements, and structural best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
