About the Role
Our client based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga is looking for an experienced Analyst who is skilled in Remuneration and Benefits to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert analysis and advice on compensation and benefits matters.
Key Responsibilities
- In cooperation with the Compensation and Benefits Manager, assess and analyse the duties and responsibilities of the position, and develop a fair and competitive salary.
- Analyze or evaluate market information and pay patterns, and then suggest new appointment salaries, promotions, and interim modifications.
- Regular checks and audits to make sure the human resource information system’s data is accurate.
- Be abreast of market developments, best practices for compensation and benefits, and any legal, legislative, and governance compliance needs.
- Manage employee benefits, including retirement plans, health insurance, risk management for disabilities, group personal accident insurance, funeral benefits, etc.
- Proficient Excel knowledge
- Generate reports and give analytical support for ongoing special projects and initiatives; Take part in remuneration salary surveys and analyze the data that is obtained.
Requirements
- Minimum BCom Finance/ HR Degree or Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in remuneration, data analysis, job evaluation, grading, and employee benefits administration.
- Strong statistical, analytical and research skills.
- High level of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Ability to effectively deal with conflict.
- Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders at multiple levels.
