About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Trails Guide to join our team at a 5* Game Lodge in Timbavati, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and sharing your specialist knowledge with colleagues and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Game drives & guided walks
- Anticipate future circumstances, conditions and requests and use these scenarios to plan ahead
- Anticipate Guest needs and think up creative ways to meet these needs
- Correctly communicate detailed information and instruction to others
- Recognise safety or security concerns
- Hosting guests
- Assisting with vehicle and reserve maintenance
Requirements
- FGASA Field Guide Level 2
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Trails Guide / Senior Field Guide at a Big 5 reserve
- Full Trails Guide qualification
- Other guide related qualifications
- Firearm competency ARH
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Drivers License
