About the Role

MSP Staffing LTD is seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to manage their mining team in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mine planning, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the mining team and oversee daily operations
  • Develop and implement mine planning strategies
  • Conduct geological data interpretation and Mine surveying
  • Utilize Deswik mine planning software to optimize production

Requirements

  • Degree in Mining Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in mine planning (short and medium), within drill-and-blast operations
  • At least 5 years of underground mining experience
  • Experience working with Deswik mine planning software
  • Geological data interpretation and Mine surveying skills

  • Formal education/certifications not specified
