Field Guide Opportunity: Lead Trails Guide – Luxury 5★ Safari Lodge, Greater Kruger Salary: R14,000 (DOE, negotiable) Location: Exclusive 5★ Safari Lodge, Greater Kruger (Private Big 5 Reserve) Accommodation: Live-in (with meals on duty provided) Start Date: URGENT Position Overview A prestigious 5★ safari lodge in the Greater Kruger area is seeking a highly skilled Lead Trails Guide (or a guide very close to completing Lead Trails) to join their guiding team. This is a hands-on role that requires professionalism, exceptional guest engagement, and a proven track record within luxury lodges. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading both vehicle-based game drives and guided walking safaris , delivering safe, memorable, and educational guest experiences while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and conservation ethics. Key Requirements FGASA NQF4 qualification (minimum) Lead Trails Guide qualification (or close to completing Lead Trails) Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) Valid PDP and First Aid certification NDT registration Minimum 3 years’ guiding experience at a reputable 5★ Big 5 lodge Strong environmental and conservation knowledge Excellent hosting, communication, and interpretive guiding skills Professional, guest-focused, and team-oriented approach Package & Benefits Salary: R14,000 per month (DOE, negotiable) Live-in accommodation (private room, with meals on duty) Uniform provided Provident fund contributions (after probation) Opportunity to work within a highly regarded lodge team in the Greater Kruger TO APPLY: Submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head & shoulders photograph.
