Guide & Front of House Couple – 5★ Safari Lodge – Kimberley area Location: Private Big 4 Game Reserve, Kimberley area – bordering the Free State & Northern Cape Salary: R26,000 combined – Negotiable DOE Accommodation: Live-in, meals provided when guests are in camp Roster: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off Role Overview Kendrick Recruitment is urgently seekinga Guide & FOH Couple to join a luxury 5★ boutique safari lodge in a private Big 4 reserve. This is a family-friendly environment, and applications from couples with children will also be considered. The successful candidates will have a strong guest-focus, a passion for the bush, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to a close-knit team. Guide Requirements Valid PrDP & First Aid Certificate. FGASA NQF2 (NQF4 preferred) with Apprentice Trails (Lead Trails beneficial) Minimum 3 years’ luxury guiding experience NDT registered Strong communication & hosting skills Self-disciplined, punctual, and team-oriented Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and radio communication Responsibilities: Conduct professional game drives and bush walks Share in-depth knowledge of wildlife, birds, plants, ecology & conservation Host guests at meals and drinks Maintain vehicles & equipment Ensure guest and staff safety protocols are upheld Assist with camp duties (guest transfers, luggage, basic maintenance) Front of House Requirements Previous luxury lodge FOH experience, ideally in a 5 star environment Guest- and service-focused, eager to learn Knowledge of food service, wines, cocktails, and beverages Excellent organisational skills and computer literate. Stock rotation and stock control experience are beneficial Responsibilities: Oversee table setup, service flow, and guest satisfaction Maintain smooth communication between kitchen and service teams Clear and reset tables to luxury standards Ensure restaurant cleanliness and hygiene at all times Uphold professional appearance and uniform standards Guest service & check in duties etc Package & Benefits Salary: R26,000 combined– negotiable DOE Live-in accommodation provided Meals provided when guests are in camp 6:2 work cycle for work-life balance Family-friendly environment (open to couples with children) TO APPLY: Submit your CV, contactable references, and a recent head & shoulders photograph ASAP!
