Job Description
Greet guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and take food and drink orders, ensuring accuracy.
Communicate orders to the kitchen, ensure accuracy, and deliver food and beverages to customers promptly.
Memorize the menu to answer questions and make recommendations, and upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks.
Set and reset tables, and ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and presentable.
Check on guests throughout their meal, handle complaints professionally, and process payments accurately.
Perform various shift duties like rolling silverware, clearing tables, and following all health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Grade 12
At least 3+ years high end hotel / restaurant experience
A friendly demeanour and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide attentive service.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and good memory.
A willingness to collaborate with other staff members.
The ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy items, especially during busy shifts.
Food knowledge, basic math skills, and the ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems are often necessary.
The willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Basic: AED1500 / USD408.00
Service charge: up to AED1,000.00 / USD272.00
