This position involves designing, managing, and overseeing the implementation of electrical and instrumentation systems for diverse projects. Key
Responsibilities:
Assess project scope and requirements to define the works scope. Prepare and evaluate fee proposals for various projects. Develop engineering designs, specifications, and calculations for electrical and instrumentation systems. Create accurate schedules for materials and labor requirements. Prepare tender documents and participate in tender adjudication processes. Manage the creation and maintenance of contract documentation. Oversee project management activities, including cost control and scheduling. Supervise testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. Travel to project sites as required to ensure project success. Qualifications Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) in Electrical Engineering is essential. Skills Over 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design, with expertise in wastewater treatment, petrochemical, and food industries. Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and drafting. Advanced knowledge and experience of MV Reticulation, Harmonic Analysis, and control systems like PLC & SCADA. Strong project management skills, including cost control and scheduling. Experience in solar/PV systems and hazardous area design is essential.
